I am finally in my new house! YAY! I really hate moving, it's so stressful, and we have a rental crisis here at the moment (too many people and not enough houses) so it was really difficult to find something I liked, but I did it. The only problem is that the swimming pool has a crack in the side of it and the water level is dropping rapidly (presumably because of the crack), so I rang the real estate so that the owner has plenty of time to fix it before summer comes.

I also replaced the shower head because the one that was here was a water-saving one and it sucked. I'm all for saving water (especially because we're in the middle of a drought here) but this was counter-productive: the water pressure was so weak that you had to spend twice as long under the shower as you otherwise would. Also, they went to the trouble of installing a water-saving shower head but they've done other stupid things, like, when you turn on the bathroom light, the toilet light comes on at the same time. So if you're in the bathroom and not the toilet, the light on the toilet is on anyway, and vice-versa. Way to go.

I've been so exhausted the last few days - I really hope it's because of the moving and not because I'm coming down with something. I hate being sick. :-\

Writer's Block: What? Everyone Doesn't Like Me?

March 26th, 2008 (07:14 am)

Why do you think it is some people don't get along with you?

View 500 Answers

Well, I know one particular person doesn't get along with me because she has Borderline Personality Disorder. ::: rolls eyes :::

If you ever meet someone with that disorder - run. (I'm not meaning to be cruel, but honestly - it's hell. Unless they're in therapy, and have been for at least 5 years, it isn't worth it).

eBay Morons/Annoyances

January 23rd, 2008 (06:03 am)

1. The person who messaged me and asked how much it would be to "e-mail" a letter set.

2. The person who bought one item and asked for combined shipping. Then when I sent them the invoice, complained that shipping was not combined. So I explained that you cannot have combined shipping when you purchase one item - but they didn't get it.

3. Seller who stole my image, then denied it when I messaged them about it. Hilariously, it was an image of a sticker sack, and the stickers in the sack just so happened to be arranged identically to the stickers in my image.

4. Seller who told me I had "a nerve" to be selling the same item as them at a lower price.

5. Anyone who messages me and says, "Hello. I wanted to bid on this auction, but the price went too high. Do you have another one that you will sell me for lower?"

6. Anyone who messages me and says that they "haven't received the package yet" - 24 hours after payment.

7. Anyone who, when told I can track their "lost" package at the post office, messages me to let me know that it has suddenly arrived!

Anyone got anything else?

Australia Post = PLZ DIE.

January 4th, 2008 (11:03 am)

Australia. Post. Must. Die.

They sent - not one! Not two! But THREE of my packages back to me this week.

Not for any valid reason, you understand, but because they mixed up the "from" and "to" addresses. This is despite the fact that the "from" address on all my packages is TINY and on the back, whilst the "to" address is huge, and on the front.

Not cool. I work REALLY hard to get all my packages out ASAP, and then they do this, so it takes twice as long for the recipients to receive them.

This isn't the first time they've done this. The thing is, they won't give a refund for the postage or anything - they'll re-send it free of charge, but IMO, they should refund the postage for being MORONS. But no! They'll just give me a green complaint form as usual and send me on my (un) merry way.

@#$%!

Crux/Kamio/Q-lia Memos On eBay

December 8th, 2007 (12:56 pm)

Hi everyone,

I'm going to be listing some rare Crux/Kamio/Q-lia memo pads over the coming days on eBay.

So far, I've got a Kamio "Mini Usakko" memo and the (much sought-after) Kamio "Saboten Mura" ("Cactus Town") memo on there. Both designs are very hard-to-find.

All of the memos I'll be listing are new and un-used.

Cheers!

Right: Dororon Obake $4.25 USD (100 sheets, 4 designs, missing scratch-off sticker sheet)

Shipping for both memos: $1.50 USD to Australia, $6.25 USD to Oceania and Asia, $9.25 USD to North America, South America, Africa and Europe.

- Paypal Only.
- Payment within 48 hours, please.
- No trades, no holds.
- Click here for my eBay feedback.
- If interested please comment with the memo/s you're interested in, and your email so I can send you a Paypal invoice. Thanks!

Other Yahoo! JP Bidding Services?

October 16th, 2007 (01:29 pm)

Hi everyone - I know awhile ago there was a post here with a list of proxy bidding services for Yahoo! JP. I know about http://www.shoppingmalljapan.com, does anyone use/know of any others?

BTW if anyone is interested, I was going to compile a list of keywords in Japanese that you can use to search for items on Yahoo JP. (Eg: "Sugarbunnies" in Japanese characters). It's a work in progress, but if anyone has any requests for any searches/characters, please let me know.

Thanks!

Maybe I'm just being really intolerant and bitchy today, but something that REALLY annoys on eBay is feedback-nagging.

A recent customer e-mailed me after she paid, for me to leave her feedback. I explained to her that I leave my feedback "in bulk", every two weeks, because the feedback form doesn't work correctly for me and that makes it very time-consuming, as I often have to re-do feedback I've just submitted. I assured the customer that I never miss anyone, feedback is always left for everyone, and to please be patient.

This, it seems, wasn't good enough. This customer proceeded to send me e-mails every. two. hours, all day, pestering me to leave her feedback. I received no less than 10 e-mails the first day after the transaction, and about 4 every day for the last week. And I still haven't left her feedback, for being a pain in the arse. I know I sound like a bitch but NYARGH.

That is all.
